Legacy Place Officially Open Today

(Dedham, MA; August 28, 2009)—Legacy Place, the 675,000-square-foot open-air shopping destination, officially opens today, said WS Development. Located at the intersection of Routes 1 and 128 in Dedham, MA, Legacy Place is 93% leased and packed with powerful anchors, including Whole Foods Market, L.L.Bean, Showcase Cinema de Lux, Borders, and Kings.

Tomorrow at Legacy Place, Showcase Cinema de Lux officially opens. Showcase Cinema de Lux is National Amusements newest brand, providing guests an enhanced level of luxury and comfort. It features a premium reserved-seating concept called Lux Level, which allows guests to indulge themselves with luscious meals, snacks, and cocktails before and during the show.

In addition to Showcase Cinema de Lux, several major specialty stores are opening this week at Legacy Place:

Apple—Every Apple retail store offers customers great ways to get the most out of their Mac and iPod, such as free advice at the Genius Bar, popular in-store workshops and special programs for kids. The hands-on Apple retail store experience gives customers a chance to test-drive Apple’s entire product line.

Au Bon Pain— An internationally recognized leader in the fast casual restaurant category with 226 cafes worldwide, Au Bon Pain offers bread, pastries, salads, soups, sandwiches, Harvest Rice Bowls and coffee in welcoming café environments that emphasize quick service and hospitality.

Clarks—Clarks shoes combine legendary comfort, quality and technical innovation with contemporary styles for men, women and children.

Johnston & Murphy—A pillar of classic workmanship and a beacon of American style since 1850, Johnston & Murphy has provided the highest quality products and set the standard for successful, professional men everywhere.

Merrell—For more than 26 years, Merrell has provided outdoor enthusiasts with quality performance footwear, from hiking boots to Aftersport casual shoes for men, women and children.

Oakley—Oakley is a sport and lifestyle brand, driven to ignite the imagination through the fusion of art and science. Oakley´s 30-year legacy of invention has led to a diversified range of products including high performance sunglasses, prescription lenses and frames, goggles, apparel, footwear, and accessories.

Pandora—Each piece of Pandora’s jewelry showcases a wealth of feminine detailing while maintaining the classic simplicity that is dominant in Danish design. Pandora designs are held to extremely high-quality, fine jewelry standards.

Stores opening this week will join L.L.Bean, P.F. Chang´s China Bistro, City Sports, Anthropologie, H&M, The Paper Store, Banana Republic, Gymboree, Collections By Stride Rite, Yankee Candle, Justice, and Ann Taylor LOFT.
